VET EX MACHINA is actively involved in the auditing process of Halloumi PDO; a project undertaken by Bureau Veritas Hellas M.A.E.
Bureau Veritas Hellas M.A.E. and the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment of the Republic of Cyprus, signed on 27/09/2021 the Contract for Independent Verification Agreement of the delegation of specific tasks related to official controls of verification of compliance with the product specification for the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) of “ΧΑΛΛΟΥΜΙ (HALLOUMI)/HELLIM” which is registered by the European Commission.
By the present contract, Bureau Veritas Hellas M.A.E. undertakes to perform the delegated official controls throughout the supply chain, i.e. Feed Mills, Milk producers, and Halloumi cheese producers.
