We are a group of investigators (surgeons, veterinarians, biologists and biomedical engineers) working as a team. Up to date, we have delivered
effectively in demanding projects, both in the academic and the industrial sector. 

Our diverse team brings a multidisciplinary skillset to our projects, to the benefit of our collaborators Kyriakos Spanoudes is a Veterinary surgeon dedicated to research and biomedical innovation. He pursued his veterinary degree in Greece, (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) and doctoral studies in Ireland (Biomedical Engineering and Regenerative Medicine; NUIG Galway). 

During his career he has worked in 6 EU countries and trained in advanced surgical techniques, tissue engineering, and medical devices’ assessment (both in vitro and in vivo). Up to date, he has undertaken projects with laboratory, companion and farm animals. His work has been published in 17 peer-reviewed journal articles, a book chapter, and more than 45 conference abstracts. He is the current president of the Cyprus Veterinary Council, and an active member of the European Society of Laboratory Animal Veterinarians. He established VET EX MACHINA LTD in 2018 where he acts as director.
